Cold/flu
40 weeks + 1 and I’ve come down with a terrible cold. Just wondering if anyone else was the same or if this will affect anything with birth? Is there anything I won’t be able to do? I’m sure it’s fine, not like they can stop me giving birth😂 suppose I’m just feeling sorry for myself and want someone to tell me it’ll be okay🙄😂

The only thing it means is that you can't have any of the good drugs to deal with the cold symptoms. So nothing more than paracetamol. Otherwise you're fine! Feel better!
I’ve been stuck with the cold/flu for the past week and a bit (40+2) my throat is in agony and can barely swallow anything even water. Paracetamol is the only thing we’re allowed to take for it but I’m not even bothering with that unless I have a temp which I don’t have anymore luckily! Blocked nose doesn’t help the throat. Just rest and literally sweat it out as much as you can it’s kinda working for me but it’s taking more time than I’d like it to😣 but make sure you sweat every night and take a good hot shower/bath in the mornings so you don’t feel disgusting 🩷 hope you get better girlie🩷
