Fever but no other symptoms
My LO has had a fever all day (about 38 degrees) and I’ve been bringing it down with paracetamol and ibuprofen. Other than the fever though he’s fine. He’s eating fine, running around, and generally in good spirits. He’s gone to sleep now and I’m wondering if I should set timers to give him some ibuprofen over night, or should just let it run it’s course?
Also, is it normal to have a fever and no other symptoms?

My son had the same thing last month, a high fever but otherwise himself. I woke him up to give him calpol once before I went to bed then just left him to sleep, he was fine after a couple of days
There is so much going around at the minute it is completely normal. Maybe see how it goes as 38 isn't too high of a temp so he might just sleep if he's had it all day x
Would defo just let him sleep. Like the previous person said. 38 isn’t that high and he if he normal eat and drinking then his body sounds like he is fighting whatever. It’s sadly that time of year for the little ones. I have 2 kids with autoimmune diseases so I’m very conscious when it comes to high temps as they are at high risk but if they were 38 I wouldn’t do anything
