Worried about delivery and baby weight.

I had a traumatic delivery with my girst, where I had a second-degree tear and lost over 2L of blood due to them trying to stitch me up for about 45min and couldn't, the anesthetic kept wearing off so I literally could feel every stuck they did( thinking about makes me tear up) in the end they had to rush me to therter. I took me nearly a year before I felt normal down there again. Also, my tummy has been feeling hard for the last 6 weeks, I know it's the baby cause I can feel him at every touch. It wasn't like that with my first born and im worried he's super big and I won't be able to push him out. At my 32 weeks check he was 4lb, my next check is at 38 weeks and I'm worried he's doubled in size or more. Which is giving me anxiety and nightmares. My tummy also feels super heavy than it did last time which me making me think he's really big. I'm just so overwhelmed. 😭

My little girl was measuring average size and then I got a new midwife who said she's going to be a big baby, I'm currently laid in bed with a 6 pound 2 oz baby on me, I was also worried about the same thing

I had a few growth scans + they measured baby too. From what I saw on my notes lastime he was 4lb.

Will you consider to have c section instead

Avatar

I have been thinking about it and will mention it to my midwife, but apparently, I can't have a selective C-section as I've had a vaginal birth before, it would have to be the worst-case scenario for them to do it.

Why can’t? I would recommend you not making this assumption. Please talk to them openly about your worries and you can insist for what you prefer. If you are not confident enough to go for vaginal birth again, just don’t force yourself to

You’re absolutely allowed to have a section if you want one, advocate for yourself and push for one if that’s what you want. If they’ve told you that, it’s a load of bollocks and raise it with the PALS team.

Boy or girl?

I’ve just discovered the nub theory and this is my 4th baby. Anyone take a guess?

39 weeks pregnant FTM

39 weeks baby hasn’t come yet and I am just full of anxiety. I am trying to relax. I am trying to chill, but I can’t chill. I do not want to be induced. I would love to have her natural. Issue is I am tight down there and petite and baby is measuring big like the head especially. I know that measurements can be off. But I have photos! And she is a chunk. This is so unpredictable. How do I just put my faith forward and trust in God and how do I let go of this anxiety? I am doing fine and then boom it hits me and I want to ball my eyes out. I am trying to treat myself and do little things but driving or doing anything is so hard now and I’m so huge and uncomfortable …I’m at my breaking point 😭

So ready for second trimester 🥲

I really really hate the first trimester. It’s exhausting, no appetite, not enough hours to get the amount of sleep I need, headaches, smell sensitivity, and overall just feeling like crap! And I don’t want to announce anything until 14 weeks since I’ve had losses before, and it’s getting really hard to hide it from my friends. Two more weeks to go….

Just needed to vent to others who understand!

Anxiety

I’m 10 weeks and I have had so much anxiety probably for the last 2-3 weeks I already deal with anxiety but it was a tad bit easier shaking it off when I wasn’t pregnant.. I am on medication but doesn’t seem to be doing much tbh— I see a lot of yall say it’s a first trimester thing but this is my 3rd baby and I don’t remember being this anxious especially bc sometimes I’m just laying and heart rate reaches the the 120s am I the only one? Please help with suggestions. I don’t want to feel like this.. I know pregnancy is hard but fudge this makes it’s harder 😔😔😔

SPPH (secondary postpartum haemorrhage) due to retained placenta -D&C?

Looking to see if anyone else has experienced this? Currently trying to pass retained tissue ( 4 weeks pp) and finding every day so exhausting just constantly waiting and checking my bleeding. I stopped bleeding on week 2.5/3 then bleeding picked up last Saturday and I haemorrhaged on Thursday morning with a rush to hospital. Everyday since I’m waking up scared I’ll be bleeding out. Worried to go toilet to check, I’m not convinced I’ll be passing it naturally and I’m worried I’ll need a D&C… has anyone had this? My retained tissue is 2cm so they said it’s small but I have no signs of passing it or blood changing colour to show slowing down.
