Best way to help relieve coughs?

My LG had a cough virus a couple weeks ago, we got a vicks humidifier from argos and it worked a charm with her sleeping through again, we also used benylin infant to help sooth her throat. I hope this helps, seems there is a bug going round, if its what she has you may get it as unfortunately littlens passed it to me 😅

The humidifier comes with these tabs that are like soaked in vicks stuff, they have 2 tabs, one for under 3yrs and the other one is over 3 years. It came with the over 3 but I'd already opened the packet before realising and it didn't cause issues.

My little girl is the same at the moment and I have it too so know how she feels! I've been giving her calcough which seems to ease the dry cough a little and hopefully helps her throat. Also got the olbas baby oil and add to tissues in her room and hot water pots around the house. She's also off her food a little but I'm offering smoother things (she has 8 teeth so normally eats anything we do) like yogurts and Spaghetti hoops/shapes.

He's got 8 teeth and usually up for everything but the most into food we can get him to have is yogurts and sometime yogurt based overnight oats things as long as they've been in the fridge

oh this thing hit me like a truck, its like she took all my antibodies 😅 it will feel like a really bad cold but not flu-ie like there wasn't any aches or pains

I don't usually wake up for a drink during the night but I'm drinking almost a litre during the night to feel relief. I'm also always cold. Our heating was on really high and I complained I was freezing cold

oh yeah I was like that, I had a hot bath, I used littlens bath thermometer and had it at 40 and stayed in there for half an hour after she was put down for the night. I also just wrapped up in multiple Blankets on the sofa and fell asleep. My parents were able to have her for the weekend so I could just rest and try get better. The only thing I have now is a sore throat, blocked nose and a cough but I'm using covonia chesty cough it always works, Soothers as I'm unable to have normal lozenges and cold and flu so it gets me through the day but the doctor says it lasts 5-7days but hopefully you can get some time for a relaxing hot bath

were currently moving into our flat and yesterday I was led on sofa cushion on the floor with a quilt over shivering, heating up high. I'm just thinking this as I'm going infect everyone in work today

We bought a Vicks humidifier as our little one is suffering with a cough especially at night and it does help I think. Our nursery is really small though and we turned it all the way up, after a few hours it was like a steam room in there we had to turn it right down 🤣

I found a Vicks vapour thing and got him some calcough. He has apparently slept all day so he's now full of energy and I'm here dying feeling I need to sleep
