Bad skin breakouts 5 months pp

Since giving birth I have had really bad breakouts on my face. Where spots hurt to touch for days until they are gone. I have always had acne but not this bad for years. It makes me so upset to look at my face and none of my face products have changed

I have psoriasis on my scalp and have done since i was 24 (now 32) and since having my LB it has been the worst it had ever been. To the point it’s slowly going down the sides of my face by my ears and dots along my head. Unfortunately I know that this is all hormonal and our hormones can take up to a year to level out 🫠. I know it’s not the answer you wanted but you just have to wait it out x

Have you contacted your GP for a stronger gel/cream? This will also help if you’d rather not speak to your GP - https://www.chemist-4-u.com/acnecide-spot-treatment-benzoyl-peroxide-15g there’s also a matching face wash.

Get any intensive facial moisturiser too as your skin will dry out fast from using it. I use a basic Asda one, nothing fancy! Once starts to clear, just it every few days instead. If they’re as deep as you say they are I’d go down GP route first for something stronger. Make sure your water intake increases too. Biotic balance tablets also helped clear my skin so much, don’t be put off by them just being for a healthy gut because your gut plays a part in your skin too. It’ll take at least 6 weeks to see results from bioglan alone, fight the side effects lol.

From someone who was on Roaccutane with the worst skin, I fully vouch for all of the above. I use CeraVe to maintain but it’s overpriced for treatment imo. Start a basic women’s multivit too. Build body back up x
