Lighthearted rant about jackets
I just told myself I'm done with shopping for maternity clothes a few weeks ago. Today I discovered that I can very barely zip my coat jacket. It's not even winter yet. Do I really gotta go try to find yet another clothing item or can i just wear blankets outside like a burrito ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

I had the same dilemma! My husband got me a heavy hooded cape/jacket. I didn’t want to buy a maternity winter coat and the cape is stylish and something I can wear after the baby is born 😊
I’m also in the Midwest so I’m gonna say yes you definitely need a new jacket. I just bought one that was a few sizes up from north face outlet. Poshmark is a good place to look too
Personally I'd wear a heavy sweater and a regular jacket unzipped. Unless you work outside or regularly spend long periods of time outside, the time walking from house to car and car to work/grocery/etc is not long enough to warrant buying a whole new jacket for.

@Carina I'm a bit of a big baby when it comes to cold lol, plus I'm in Chicago area where it's very cold and sometimes windy 😅 but I do spend most of my time inside with brief sprints outside so it's a good point!
@Nicole I have 4 of them actually! It's just maybe not very "business casual" appropriate 🤣
They make maternity jacket extenders panels! You can keep using your coat/jacket with your growing belly. Lots on Amazon.
