Hospital Bag

When are you guys packing your hospital bags? And what are you putting in it?? I have made a list and packed majority of babies stuff. But when it comes to mine and my partners bag, I am not interested in packing lol. I’m 34 weeks so I have time but I’m also afraid he’ll come early and then I’m going to be throwing stuff together while in labor haha

I’m high risk, so I started packing mine around 28 weeks. I have mostly everything in it now besides my finances stuff and I’m 32 weeks.

I’m literally taking PJs and a robe plus a speaker and toiletries and my own peri bottle that’s it. After talking to my cousin who just gave birth at the same hospital I will it seems that’s all I will need! Maybe some snacks to!

We packed our son's bag last week at 35 weeks, and I just packed mine yesterday at 36 weeks. What I did was also make a list of what I have packed, and what will need to be packed (my night guard, my toothbrush/toothpaste, and a binder of important info like the pediatrician and other stuff/phone numbers we'll need to call for insurance and work purposes).

The list is helping me because at this rate I'm anxious about everything.

I am planning on breastfeeding, so I packed my nursing bras, tank tops and light sweaters to wear over them, loose pants, maternity underwear, socks, and I think that's it so far. My husband asked his coworkers and they told him to have me pack for like a 3 night hotel stay, essentially. I even packed a book 🤣 I have deodorant, lotion, and travel size shampoo and conditioner I found in my closet I just threw in.

I'm trying to make it to where I don't need to send my husband for anything I've forgotten or may want, but we are lucky because we're 5 minutes from the hospital!

I’m 36 weeks but being induced at 39 weeks but I have my baby shower this Saturday so I was planning on preparing my hospital bag once baby shower is over

I was told to pack a heating pad in case of back labor (by and L&D nurse) the hot packs only stay warm 5 min that they give.

Other things I have packed or will be adding
- toiletries
- oil diffuser
- bathrobe
- slippers and flip flops
- fuzzy socks
- adult diapers in case I don’t like the mesh underwear
- baby’s name announcement sign and outfit
- coming home outfit
- charger

I’m 33 weeks and started packing mine yesterday. I’m high risk and supposed to be induced at 37 weeks, but am nervous something will happen to make that be earlier.

I’m not really bringing anything for baby other than an outfit to come home in. The hospital will have everything else they need. For me I’m bringing a robe, nursing gown for after birth, looking for a gown to wear for labor (I don’t love the hospital gowns), and some socks with grippy soles on the bottom. Also long phone charger, toiletries, kindle/charger, snacks, and an outfit to wear home. I’m going to have my husband pack a couple outfits for himself (at least one button down for easy skin to skin), toiletries, entertainment things, and a pillow/blanket.

ohhhhhhhhhhh tea is a good one!! I love tea, but the hospital always has crappy ones. Adding that to my list to pack a few bags of the ones I like!
