Best time for a 1st birthday party?

If you’re having a party what time are you thinking? How long are you putting on the invite?

Can’t think what’s best for everyone’s naps times and also don’t know if my LOs naps might be different then.

We’re doing an 11-4/5 (haven’t decided on finish time yet), and specifically saying that people can come and go as they please.

No point in trying to cater for everyone’s nap times, as no doubt someone would end up having one outwith that time 😅

I’m doing that window purely for people to decide when they wish to come- but we’re also doing it at our house.

I’ve been to birthday parties that have been between 1-3, 12-4, 10-12, 3-5, so hubby and I have gone for a blanket window 😅😂 (sorry for the length of my reply… I hope its been of some help?!)

10:30- 14:00 on a Sunday. This was mainly so we could still make our swim class at 16:30 lol. However previous ones we’ve been to were, 12-3 or 11-14:30. If really does depend as like you say, people can come and go as they please.

My baby is born 4th jan but having his party on 30th December as most people have those few days off for Xmas ♥️

And his party is 12-2 hoping his naps before for a short one and after x

We are doing my sons 1-3 as he normally naps around 3/330 and has lunch at about 1230! So it's a nice gap in the middle x

C section belly pain

Hi! My c section was December 2024. At my 6 week checkup, i shared i had this point tender pain like an inch above and maybe .25 inches to the right of my belly button. Got an ultrasound a nothing. 15 months later im still having this point tenderness. Sometimes the pain is more apparent, sometimes baby is held a certain way and i get pain there. Not sure if a nerve thing, an adhesion, something else? Anyway thought I would ask if anyone has dealt with something similar. Did you figure out what caused it?

What does labour feel like and when do you know it started?

I have two and a half weeks to go and I'm starting to get nervous about every pain or ache I get. What does it actually feel like/ where does the pain start or come from?

Water discharge/ 23 weeks

Hello moms! I'm having a watering discharge that can make my pants wet. I did call midwife triage and went to the hospital to have a check.
The test for aminiotic fluid came out negative.
But it's so strange this watering discharge.
Has anyone here had this experience?
I know I'm being a bit paranoid 😅 but I'm still want to have other tests done. I will ask my midwife next time.
I'm just trying to relax and not worry . What you girls do to not get worried?

Movements at 31 weeks

Felt some big movements over the last few days but then much less today. Still had some movement but fewer and not as strong. Think baby has flipped so his back is now t the front but unsure. Anyone else had days with less movements as we approach the last few weeks ?

Upper stomach pain

37+3 got upper stomach pain like the ache you get after being sick and straining but it's been constant for hours now.

Bubba is breech so could it just be that he's having a stretch about? It's just making me feel crappy. Anyone else have this?
