Pet Peeve
I have no idea why, but it really bugs me when someone else is holding my baby and they comment on how “their boobs don’t work” or “there’s nothing in there”. It’s probably silly and I don’t know why it bothers me it just does lol. Or when they use baby talk- just pronounce words properly 🫠

When grandparents say "my baby"
Like no... She's your grandchild... She's MY baby.
Or
When they won't give me my child back when I ask or when she's crying and their excuse is "it's grams time you have her all the time"
Or
I've waited long enough. She can come spend the night at my house. ( I've been asked at 2 months 4 months, 6 months and 8 months) 🙄

Both sets of my babies grandparents live 3+ hours away- we have been getting guilted and they keep saying how we never come to visit. Sorry I don’t want to make the drive with a 7 month old? When all her stuff is here? Not sure why they can’t visit us.. 🤔

When people won’t give back my baby to myself or my fiancé when I know she’s crying or upset because hungry or literally just wants to be held by me or my fiancé.

You get her all the time comment.

Her toes are cold why doesn’t she have socks on - because they feel everything through their feet and her core is warm so she’s OKAY🙄 yes i out socks on when we go out but just chillen around the house, she doesn’t need them or want them, rips them off anyway.
Or
Letting her be on the floor or grass to crawl if it isn’t pristine, little dude isn’t a fan of always being held. She’s an explorer. It’s fine if the floor wasn’t just cleaned, we have two dogs, so keeping up with the hair and dirt is nearly impossible.
I feel the socks comment in my core!! I sent a picture to an aunt today and the ONLY comment I got back was “where’s her socks”
We are in my climate controlled house on carpet. The socks are in her drawer where they belong. Lol
I ignore all dumb comments that are made now, I don’t have the patience to listen to silly comments😅
Exactly, if anything I’ll put her in fleece footies more so for easier diaper changes with less layers lol
Comments on breastfeeding and passive aggressive hints to stop
When people come and ask “when you going to have the boy?” “You should get pregnant next year so they close in age” OKAY BUT I’m trying to survive and raise one kid right now AND IT’S HARDDD, the worst is when I say I don’t want more kids they start questioning me and saying baby will feel lonely????? Like when did ask about your opinion? lol sorry just piss me offff!
I feel you! My new response to “won’t they be lonely” is “no, she can make friends” what a concept eh? 😅
same. I have no patience on people before and its more now 🤣
