Maternity Leave….

When are you ladies planning on starting your leave?
My body is so tired from this pregnancy and taken care of two other children full time. I don’t know how many more weeks I can last with working full time 😮‍💨

I'm planning on stopping 2 weeks before my due date unless told other wise! I don't get paid leave or vacation time either. But I'm a dog groomer and it's already taking a toll on me

I don't get paid maternity leave so I'm hoping I can go as far as my baby comes. Unless told otherwise.

I purposely didn't use any PTO time or sick time since October so I have over 100 hours between the two. Only 40 hours of PTO carry over so my last day is December 12th. If she doesn't come by the 22nd then I'll work that day because that's a half a day at my job for Christmas Eve. Then if she doesn't come by the 29th I'll work a half a day that day because that's New Year's Eve at my job. Now for some reason if she doesn't come around the same time where my son did which would mean she would be here in 6 or 7 weeks If I still haven't given birth by January I'll go back to work until she comes unless my doctor puts me on bed rest.

My company puts us out automatically at 4 weeks prior to delivery date. I was initially annoyed by this because my job would have been easy to accommodate (working from home for last few weeks or something), but the closer it gets, the better I'm feeling about not working for those last 4 weeks.. thinking of all the last minute nesting (and RESTING) I can get done 😂

I work from home but plan to stop working 2 weeks prior to my DD which would mean 12/30/23 and I’ll take short term disability and then paid family leave for 12 weeks… depending on things I may utilize FMLA even though it’s unpaid

I plan to take time starting from 1 week before my due date I get a total of 16 weeks maternity leave.
