6wk old with viral infection/cold
Hey mamas my little girl has a viral infection and has been sick for 4 days now…she’s congested, but I’m managing to keep it at bay with a nasal aspirator. Poor thing is so fussy and I just don’t know what to do to make her feel more comfortable? Her pediatrician said if she’s not better in a few days to come back in but like that’s not much help…I’m sick too with it now and no sleep from being up all night with her has been so hard for me as well😣Any tips to help her feel better?

6 weeks is always hard to treat I was in the same boat at my son age he ended up getting so congested I had to take him to the ER make sure she doesn't start belly breathing or have retraction when she breath other then that you will just have to ride it out your doing all you can do
Also trust ur mom gut if u think she needs to be seen again do it I listen to other people saying I was just over worried instead of my gut and I regretted it my son was in pain and need full help and could of gotten it sooner
Could you use a little baby Vicks / decongestant rub? Don’t apply to the skin, but put on the vest or baby grow? You could also put baby in a bouncer chair in the bathroom with the shower running - the steam is miraculous
