Ears pierced
Anyone else haven’t got their babies ears pierced ? I have 3 kids. This is my first girl she is 9 months old and everyone keeps asking me why I haven’t got hers done yet.. and saying it’s gonna hurt her worse. But I just don’t want to do that to her and make her cry… at 6 months I was close to doing it but walked out I was to scared. 😔 it’s sooo cute and I know it will look cute on her but idk… like im a girl mom now. Should I have already done it???

It’s completely your choice. My culture we pierce them when they’re around 6ish months. Some people say do it when your lo can voice their opinion but again it’s your choice. Don’t feel bad if you want to pierce or don’t want to. Both are completely okay
I still haven’t gotten my 9 month old ears pierced either. Mainly cause she pulls on her ears a lot and especially when teething so I’m scared she’ll do damage to the piercing. Some cultures do it like the first month. Do it when it feels right. I didn’t have my ears pierced in 6th grade and I lived. Hurt for that moment and it was done. But I do agree I’d a chicken for anything that makes my girl cry.
It’s completely your choice. We were thinking about doing it, but then decided we are going to let our daughter decide when she gets older.
I got my first daughters done at 4 months and she took them out, she had them redone at a year old.
My 9 month old is getting hers done tomorrow!! It’s so fast like a vaccine
My 2 year old loves hers and loves picking out her earrings
Letting my daughter decide if/when she wants to have them pierced. Not my body - doesn’t seem like it should be my choice
My baby is 9mo and I still have got around to it .

I want it to be special and something we do together when she’s maybe 5 or 6. When I was little in first grade it was a big deal that we went to go get my ears pierced and we got an earring stand and a few sets of earrings together and went to lunch and it felt so special. I still remember that whole day, my hot pink earring stand, my bunny and moon earrings and putting them all on their stand!
I was a wild child and would have ripped them out doing either gymnastics as a little kid or swimming or horseback riding as a younger teen so I am going to wait until she’s quite a bit older!
It’s completely your choice love but I think the smaller u get it it will heal faster once baby is asleep old she will touch and it will be painful I have 3 girls and I got there when they all were 3 months and didn’t have any problem but again it’s totally your choice when you feel comfortable go for it
