Do I need to take him to A&E?
My LO is 15 months and he was walking but slipped and hit his head (just above his right eyebrow) on the edge of the door frame. He cried for about a minute but when I picked him up there was a indented line on his forehead where he hit the edge of the doorframe. He seems totally fine now - back to his usual self and responding and playing as usual. No signs of confusion, vomiting etc. Do I need to take him to A&E to get checked out? What other signs do I need to look out for?

Personally I'd ring 111 and get advice from them doesn't hurt to ask a medical professional
I wouldn’t worry you know what to look out for. The front of his head where he hit is quite well protected. If they cry quickly and settle quickly it normally means everything is fine. Plus getting a big bruise/visible bump is a good thing as it means swelling is external not internal. X
Just keep an eye on him for the next 8- 16 hours, keep a close eye on him when he’s sleeping x
My son did exactly this a few months ago around 18 months- I took him as I was unsure too but they said he was absolutely fine and nothing to worry about. He too had an indent so I was concerned but the nurses said it’s usually worse for us than them😂 like others advise- keep an eye on him and call 111 if you have any worries xxx
Thanks so much everyone. He’s totally fine now. He has a red mark where the indent was but the indent disappeared after a couple of mins and he has a very small bump instead. Still keeping an eye on him. But agreed it was way worse for me - I cried for longer than he did! I still feel so bad though :’(
