Maybe try baby gate an area if that will keep him in?? or try to get him involved in your chores, make it like a game! How many surfaces can you wipe with this cloth? How fast can you vacuum the lounge room, I’ll time you! Or if you have outside equipment just send him outside to run some energy off

The problem is he gets mad when the baby gate is shut, and would attempt to climb it. But last year he broke his arm climbing over a stairgate. I do try to get him to get involved in chores but his focus doesn't last long enough for me to complete chores. Going outside is not an option if o can't supervise him, he needs 121 all the time. Plus he's an escape artist too.

My son gets triggered when the gate closes. So I don't open them. I just climb over. But silently when his backs turned. He has a crash mat, which helps to get compression feedback. And I have sessions throughout the day where I'll stick the music on nursery rhymes so he gets his energy out. Or I'll play a hi 5 game where he runs and come back to hi 5 me. Sometimes, I wash up when he's asleep, or I give some water to play with and worry about the mess later.

If only I could climb over the gates. But it's always when I pop into a different room, today fir example I had no choice to wash up before lunch as no pots left and we made (I made cakes). This kid has energy 24/7 I should of mentioned he's 6 nearly 7. I'd love to be able to let him have sensory play when I'm doing certain things, but he puts everything in his mouth.
