White flakes in thawed breastmilk

Does this look normal?? I thawed 4oz of breastmilk in the fridge and I just grabbed it and it has all these little white flakes. I’ve never noticed it before so I don’t know if I should toss it or not.

I think it’s the oils/fats. If you don’t feel comfortable feeding it to your baby then you can always use it for a milk bath instead of tossing it!

This happens with mine too but after it’s warmed up the flakes go away

That’s the fat that’s separated from the milk. Once it’s warm it’ll mix back in!

Yes it’s normal and safe! It’s just the fat in your milk. Once heated it’ll mix in together

Thank you guys 😊 it was fine after I warmed it
