Hiccups everyday
Hey moms so my baby is currently 2wks 3 days. She has had hiccups atleast once everyday since she was born and I remember her getting them very frequently when she was in my belly. Is anyone else’s LO getting them this frequent? Is this normal for newborns?

My babes pediatrician says it’s very normal for them to have lots of hiccups! He has them at least once or twice everyday
He also had them a lot in the belly lol
Hiccups are the sign of a healthy baby I’ve always heard 🥰
My baby has had them multiple times a day since she was in my belly, too! They say it's cause her system (respiratory system and nervous) is still maturing.
My baby used to have hiccups every day multiple times and was a sign of silent reflux (but she had other signs too), if she’s a happy baby don’t worry, if she cries in the middle of feedings, she arches her back and seems uncomfortable all the time it might be silent reflux.
