Our pediatrician recommended using a saline nose spray before using the frida sucker when they are stuffy to help loosen it All up. I bought the frida brand Saline spray. She told us to use as needed. And to steam up the bathroom and have baby in there with us 30 minutes a day to help.

I’m doing it twice a day now using the saline spray too

when my son was sick, I used saline before the aspirator, rubbed it around a little bit, and did this about 3-4x a day, I think you should use as necessary though.
