Name
As soon as I heard the name Annabel it felt like it was the one. I felt it when I was knitting for her and imagined it written. When she was born it just confirmed it. I’ve been calling her that for 3 days now.
But, my husband’s mum had a dog named Bella and the one thing he always said is that he doesn’t want Belle or Bella but he liked Annabel. Some idiot friend shortened Annabel to Bella last night and now he really doesn’t want it.
I am in pieces as I can’t think of her having any other name. Hormone crash isn’t helping either and I’m genuinely mourning.

I wouldn’t associate Bella with Annabel, also think it’s a bit rude for someone to shorten her name, especially considering you hadn’t. Correct people if they don’t call her Annabel that’s the name you love and have given her x
I've got an Anabelle and I love it. It really suits her. I've always loved the name Belle, French for Beauty. And my mum is called Ana, nans are called Ann sister has Ann in her name and great grandmother called Belle. So just made sense. Can shorten it to many different names depending on what the little will prefer 🥰 you might just have to tell him that it's chosen for her already and ask people not to call her Bella. Xx
