Protection
Dog has always been protected of me since we got him march this year (18 month old). He a rescue abused by male owner. So loves me over his dad. He is the reason I took a test as he kept sniffing my belly. Been really good while I've been pregnant at the start. Laying his head on my belly. Then it stop, started jumping for a week or 2. But now I'm half way and wake up 20 times a night to pee or get comfy or I wake up on my back and roll to my side to find not my partner face but our dogs. He normally sleeps informs on me. So I'm the sandwich. But lately his been in the middle. And doesn't like it when dad touches me. Just wondering if this is him being protective of bubs.
I'm just don't know, coz my mums dog still jumps all over me as he hasn't really click there's a baby yet

I have 2 dogs and a cat I’m 27 weeks. My female is always around my bump and I think she knows and feels that something is going on but they still jump and walk over my bump. Because I will have a C-section we started training then to not jump when we come home. They learned fast. When u open the door no talk no eye contact then give them a treat for not jumping. My dogs sleep with us and that is the hard part but I bought a gate and 3 weeks before the baby arrived they won’t be allowed to sleep with us.
