Independent play / feeling bad

I do the same too, she sometimes just plays by herself while I watch because sometimes I’m just burnt out 😅

I feel like this! Completely understand. As they get older though we can do activities together and play more but for now I think it’s okay too be rolling on the floor as he is learning too crawl and move x

lots of toys all around him he rolls over so much grabbing everything😂

we do the same, but i just in the fooor with her and chase her if that makes sense like if she moves ill move either with her and chat with her.

i’ve started popping her in the high chair and doing paintings, sensory play and water play with her so we get time together and then i don’t feel as bad about her playing more independently. but i just mostly sit on the floor with her and just pop into her “play”

they need that time on the floor away from us to work in crawling etc

we did this for the first time in the play yard yesterday and it worked i got stuff done in the kitchen and he played

Independent play is so important as they get older. It's really beneficial for practising skills like rolling and crawling, continually building their strength etc.
Don't feel guilty , it's really good for them

I also do this and feel so guilty I have been to a class today so don’t feel as bad
