First immunisations

Hey guys, My little girl has just had her first set of immunisations. The wee soul went bright red after having them and got the fright of her life. She is now as white as a sheet. Feel so sorry for her!!! She got the jags at 9:30 this morning and has slept most of the day. Anyone else’s baby slept all day after having them? Any tips on how to make her happier? I’ve fed her a lot, chatted to her, sang to her and lots of cuddles but any other tips would be good. X

Just monitor temp hun and give the doses 5hrs apart. Other than that she’ll be in pain, try not to overstimulate as she’ll feel pants for a few days. -wait for the gross poos and extra dribble. What I noticed when she had hers a week ago and what she wants when she wants. ❤️

Aww she’s super cute 🥰
My little girl just slept and was really quiet. We gave her calpol straight away and then every 4 hours after 😊
Then she was back to normal in 24 hours x

My little girl had hers yesterday afternoon and has pretty much slept since. She’s woken up for feeds but isn’t really having much the, 3oz rather than 5 but the nurse said this was to be expected. Hope she gets better soon x plenty of cuddles x

Hey Carly, loss of appetite and drowsiness is one of the things that can happen post the vaccine. It is listed on the information leaflet you must have received 🙂 My girl was the same and took about 2 days to get to normal. Love to your little one.
