My little is really chesty and coughing a lot today. She's teething on top of this too. We've been using Calpol nasal spray but it sounds more on her chest and shes quite wheezy. Whether it's the fact she can't breathe well or her teeth cutting, she's bottle refusing and only managed 500ml yesterday and todays looking the same way. Any tips on how to help her drink whilst she's uncomfortable?

Try using a calpol vapour plug to see if that helps her chest but if she continues not feeding well & the cough doesn’t seem to be getting better see a GP as she might need antibiotics etc, hope your little one feels better soon!

We ended up with an inhaler from GP for this reason x

I think I'm going to take her docs just to make sure there's nothing else up that's putting her off her milk. She's always hated drinking her milk but it's even harder now😅she keeps tugging at her ears if she drinks more than a few sips at a time (when she's falling asleep drinking mainly) but I've heard that can be teething or just self soothing🤷

I agree with the calpol vapor plug. It’s worked wonders for my LG’s chesty cough the last few nights!
