How much does/did your baby weigh at 2 months ?

Baby should gain each week from 160 up to 200 grams. You can measure it with the usual scale by holding your baby. If you have 160 grams, you are fine

My baby was born 5 lb, 2 months old, and she is 9.7 lb. We almost doubled the weight

I wouldn't worry. It depends on their birth weight.
My daughter was 8lbs 13 oz at birth and is now 12lbs (2 months as of this past Monday)

I forgot to mention she was born weighing 6 lbs and 5 oz at 38 weeks

If the health visitor hasn’t shown any concern I wouldn’t worry. Mine was born at 7.3lb and weighed 10.3lb at 7 weeks.

But I feel more at ease

I know it’s so easy to get caught up on the percentiles. I do too, my son is in the 17th. But I have a lot of friends who work in healthcare specifically pediatrics. And they’ve all explained to me whether your child is in the 1%tile or the 99%tile your child is STILL healthy & some kids grow fast now slow later while others grow slow now fast later.

My son is 14 lbs at 2 months. He weighed 7 lbs 11 oz at birth.

My son was 6lb13oz at birth and at his 2 month appointment he was 11lb8oz

14 lbs at 2 months, he was 9.7lbs at birth. He measures 25 inches now (was 21.5 inches at birth), he’s a big boy (about 90th percentile this entire time)

12.3 pounds. He was almost 9 lbs at birth
