Is there an income limit for CCB? My application was rejected because of high household income. We make a little over $200k annually

It should be fine... it would be a verrrrrry little amount, but you'd still get something. I suggest calling CRA

There's a calculator on the CRA website. You could go through and if it shows you should get the credit, then I would call.

We were told recently that it's around $220k annually and then varies case by case (eg. How many children have you have) Our application was also denied. I was told, though I am eligible, I am not entitled to it.
Thanks everyone. I have 1 child

We have 2 kids (2 and 7) our report earning was little over $250.

Yeah you won’t get anything if your income is high

I still get CCB and we are over $200K household but I have two children… I think we get $335?

You wouldn’t receive CCB I made way less and didn’t get anything

I guess it depends how many kids you have now that I have a second child who is under 6 I receive it.

it’s based on dependents. Since you have more than one child you have more responsibilities and the government calculates it that way. 200k for one child is a different calculation than for two children

Well I guess it’s time for another baby! 😂

😂😂

Yes there is an annual income limit for all benefits

Some tips on how to get more CCB
Thanks everyone! Haha maybe it's time for another one 😂😂

We are in a similar situation my CCB. Paid out $0.46 for the year…..🫠 take advantage of maxing out your RRSP each year as it will reduce your taxable income each year…so you’d get paid out more for CCB!
