Jaundice

Can somebody help me my little boy was born on Saturday and we were told he has blood type jaundice is 16.1 severe case? Has anyone gone through this I’m freaking out he’s under photo therapy

Try not to get too stressed (I know that's easier said than done), the bilirubin usually peaks in the first week of life and then will start normalizing as the baby eats more and excretes out the bilirubin. And they're already doing the light therapy which usually after 2 days you'll see improvement in levels.
