Calpol plug in and cats

Has anyone used calpol plug in for their babies cold while having the cats in the bedroom? We don't lock them out of the room as they would scratch on the door and they are uses to sleeping on our bed. I know it says do not use with pets in the room as it's not been tested on/ with pets but just wanted to see if anyone has an experience with safely using it while cats in the room at night.

Never used one personally but I know paracetamol is highly toxic to cats if ingested. Not sure about plug ins. I know they say to stay away from certain essential oils on oil burners etc but again unsure on calpol plug in. I would try shutting cats out just to be on the same side or just give baby a dose of calpol instead

You could always phone the vet and ask their advice

I don’t think it’s recommended to use if you have pets if LO is in their own room you could shut the door to keep the cat out and plug in fumes in? But could be worth checking with the vet first

We don’t use it with the pets in the room, we can’t sleep with both our cats in the room anyway as our youngest is very small (she’s never grown and she’s 2 and a half) and all she ever wants us to lay on things that are warm, although she’s never tried with our son it still makes me anxious so we don’t let her in. Anyways I digress, we have however had the plug in on for a while with the door shut when my son goes to sleep at first then we turn it off and leave it for a while just incase at any point in the night our eldest cat comes in
