Trying to conceive while breastfeeding

Has anyone got pregnant while still breastfeeding their baby I’m trying to get pregnant while still nursing my 16 month old but it feels like it’s impossible I’m getting my periods back but I can’t tell when I’m ovulating

I got pregnant while breastfeeding. My periods were still a bit irregular and I wasn't tracking ovulation

@Lisa-Marie I just got my 2 days ago a week early than expected but I just feel so defeated about this I don’t wanna give up on having another baby it just seems like breastfeeding is making it difficult for me to conceive

It could be breastfeeding, but it could also be random. Try getting some ovulation tests to track

Try tracking your periods and ovulation with the Flo app they actually have a “Get Pregnant” setting!

I got pregnant while breastfeeding, but I didn’t get my period back for 16 months (I was exclusively breastfeeding) had 1 period and got pregnant after that first month of trying. Continued to nurse until 21 months. Giving birth in a few days! I did ovulation strips daily basically since I was 3 months pp.
