Santa
I've never been big on Santa . The whole be good or some fat man's bringing you coal stories annoyed me even when I was a kid. I didn't stop my kids from enjoying the whole ideal. But this year I can't even afford to play Santa. And now I'm just worried no mater what I do with them their going to auto assume they were naughty. My husband lost his job of 7 year right after my daughter was born. We've since lost a car. Had another blow up . And are still playing catch up with mortgage and bills. And now I'm going to have to spend a few days consoling my kids about how their not naughty. Just an adulthood rant. Has anyone ever had to skip a year did your kids recover without thinking they were bratty naughty children

I would find local charities too. There’s events also, and will have Santa, and give away a gift. Some churches give away gifts too

I would just find a local charity to get some gifts for them. I'm not sure what ones are around your area but here there are "toys for tots, the schools have giving trees that people take a tag and sponsor a kid in need of a gift, and the local churches have giving trees as well. I would search around or if you are on other social media ask in the local town group what charities there are.
