Need to move out of my mums !!

Have you said to the council that your mum or whoever is evicting you after - what ever date - try that route? It’s hard to move to another council I have tried myself most of the time have to had lived in the council area for at least 5 years before applying

I live with my husband's family.. and tbh the council have been useless. Your mum would literally have to be kicking you out and say that you would be homeless by a certain date. First they will try to speak to her to convince her to keep you but she will need to be firm then they might give you temporary accommodation. Good luck x

Approach the council with a written letter from your mom: “notice to quit”
Dear Council/To whom this may concern,
Unfortunately, I cannot have my daughter, granddaughter and her child’s father here unfortunately, it’s too crowded here, I cannot have them here anymore by [insert 1 month date here] depending on the council they will give you some forms to fill in, they will call you to discuss more you don’t need to have lived in the area 5 years if you’re going through abuse. If you’re like black African or caribbean I would not recommend even telling anyone about abuse, they may try to take your child however, if you’re white you’re okay to tell them about you and your mom’s strained or challenging relationship, she should make it clear that she doesn’t want you there at all x From there you will get a place

hiya yeah my mum is emotionally abusive and we have never had a good relationship she did actually kick me out not long about and she threatened violence and I told my case worker and as I was staying at my friends they didn’t want to help as they didn’t see me as a priority xx

Hi hun yes another council, try the next council over like Westminster or Haringey, you will be housed asap no way can they throw you into the streets
