Sicky mama
I think I’m starting to get sick with a cold or something. My throat is itchy and my nose is runny.
I’m scared that I might get my baby sick as well.
Any recommendations on what to do? Also any medication? I’m currently breastfeeding my baby as well.

I got the same thing few days ago, and got sick. I got better with Delsym cough medicine, ginger lemon honey tea and bone broth. Unfortunately the next day my LO got sick with fever. We called our pediatrician about it who also confirmed breastmilk is good especially since it has the antibodies for your baby. It would be best to contact your doctor if things go south and you may need certain medications that may or may not affect your breastmilk.
I got sick too, 2 weeks ago.
From the moment I started feeling a sore throat I stopped kissing my baby and started wearing a mask at all times.
My baby didn't get sick and no one in my house!.
I was super sick, sneezing, sorethroat and congestion but tested for covid amd strep and both were negative.
As I said I wore a mask around my baby all the time and she didn't get sick. I gave her breastmilk the whole time so she probably got the antibodies for whatever I had as well.
