Pram Footmuffs 🤔😵‍💫

I don’t drive and have to walk a lot of places, So I just ordered the below footmuff as it’s started getting cold here - about 3 or 4 degrees!

But what the hell do you put baby in under it?
Do I still need to use a pram suit or just normal clothes and a jacket? (Obvs a hat and what not)
It’s really thick and I’m not sure how many layers it counts as 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Also is it okay for baby’s face to get cold? My LO is always super toasty and warm when we get home but her nose and cheeks are sooo cold!!

Sorry for the long post, first time confused mum with a summer baby haha!

I was out with my 9 week old yesterday and it was so cold!! I was concerned about similar things to you - he has something similar to this in his bassinet that’s lovely and quilted so he’s always cosy but layers wise he had on long sleeve vest, knitted two piece (jumper and leggings) socks and I put him in a fleece onesie. We then did a long walk home and I put his hat on whilst having one side hood up. He was super cosy but not too warm, that’s always my concern. Anything I’ve read about baby wearing which I know is slightly different advice because of body warmth, says layers. Plenty of cause they can always be removed if need be ☺️
