2nd miscarriage in under 2 years

Warning may cause trigger…

On the 15th of November (1 month after I got married) I found out that my little cell had disappeared and I was left with just the sack…I had a scan 2 weeks previous as I had a small amount of bleeding & had an vaginal scan.
I had a D&C on the 22nd of November as I didn’t want to be in any pain.
This is my second miscarriage in under 2 years, we’ve been trying since 2021 (so almost 3 years) and it took us 1 year with the first pregnancy and then 18 months with the second. The worst part is I found out I was pregnant the day after our wedding. We don’t have another year to get pregnant. My husband is 41 in a few weeks and I’ll be 39 in March…I’ve been signed off work till the 20th of December…life is just unfair at times

I definitely can relate with you my guy and I has loss four babies in 2.5 years. The feelings you get after experiencing it over and over. Just wondering if you will have this 🌈 baby is also stressful. Have you check with a fertility clinic yet?

Don’t worry I had an ectopic, miscarriage that needed a D&C, chemical pregnancy and my beautiful healthy baby girl.

I went to a napro (natural procreation) dr showed up struggling to get pregnant and they put me on progesterone to help sustain my pregnancy as a precaution. Currently nursing trying to monitor my cycle to test and see if I need more progesterone for cuter

I'm so sorry to hear this.
I had two miscarriages then the 3rd time was a healthy pregnancy and I have a2 year old son now.
It can happen🤞 you can get pregnant which is a good sign

I’ve known so many friends who have had multiple miscarriages, late miscarriages or a still born…we won’t get any help on the nhs till we’ve had 3….which is total BS…just feel so sad atm x

Sorry to hear this.
Have you both gone to your GP for basic testing? You are eligible for this after 6 months of trying if you are over 35 years old. If tests come back abnormal they will refer you to a fertility clinic for further testing and treatment

I’m so sorry for your loss. Grieving a miscarriage is such a painful and lonely event, and I hope you at least see there is a community of women here who feel deeply for you.

I know how you feel. Our daughter was incredibly easy to conceive and the pregnancy was smooth despite me being 38 at the time. She's now 3 in February and we have been trying since she's a year old. We've also had 2 heartbreaking miscarriages and I'm now 41, going to be 42 in about 2 weeks. I have no advice other than keep trying. We are. Baby dust and great news for all of us trying soon hopefully xx

I am sorry that you have to go through this and yes this is so unfair. If it can give you a bit of hope, I also had 2 miscarriages in 2 years and it took us a year to get pregnant between each. We’ve been told “it’s just very bad luck”.
I am now 34 weeks pregnant and everything is going well 🌈
Request testing from the NHS or private, be gentle with yourself, eat well, do not give up.

I understand how you feel I had 4 miscarriages in 2020 all back to back. Ask your doctor to test if you have robertsonian translocation as this is what did it for me, I only have a 20% of having a baby. In total I have had 6 miscarriages, I could never get past 12 weeks, It’s horrible and really drags you down but don’t lose hope, I hope you will have your little rainbow baby eventually, keep you head up high, if you need someone to talk to about it message me ❤️

I’m in a similar boat. Been trying since September ‘21 and I’ve just turned 39. It took us 18 months to fall pregnant the first time and that ended in MMC. I found out this month that I was pregnant again and within days the dream was gone. I had a chemical. Heartbroken 😞 totally get where you’re coming from x

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
