I tried but ATM there is no way my little guy will nap the exact times they are supposed to and for that length too...before they can link sleep cycles in the day I have no idea how I'm supposed to get him to nap for that long!

My guy is 12 weeks and would be so grumpy if I went that long between feedings. He's a no more that 3 hrs or all he'll breaks loose! Lol. But if your baby is fine with the longer feeding then that routine seems good. Eventually they will start needing to extend feeds and change up naps

I don't understand how any generic routines like this work for the majority of babies.

Some babies may well be tired at these times but they are all different and so many won't.

I just don't know how there can be such a thing as a "suggested routine" for all 10-16 week olds as they all have different sleep needs and preferences.

Think that just sounds a bit ridiculous, especially with such a young baby. At that age they should really eat and sleep when they need to. That is also a crazy early bed time for such a young baby. Feel like the chances of them going down then is slim.
Generally they will fall into a natural routine that suits their needs. I think trying to follow something like that is more likely to stress you out than anything else!

I tried so many different routines and schedules from so many different places cuz i was desperate. I found out what worked best was wake windows and following baby's lead. Honestly my stress and anxiety was cut down SO much After I started doing that

my baby sleeps at 7pm every day no bother

I do feel it’s a very long gap between feeds too. Esp the 245-6pm one.

My son does to but not until he was much older than 14 weeks. I just feel like these routines can be a good guideline but put so much pressure on parents

Nope.

I looked at her suggested routine for my 11 month old and just laughed! How the hell can you make a baby sleep at an exact time and for an exact length 🧐🙈

My baby is 15 weeks tomorrow and there’s no way I could get him to nap for a certain length and at these specific times, especially with the 4 months regression 🫣 I think at this age it’s still about following their lead, the only routine we follow is eat, play, sleep and the same bedtime routine every night

that is me! My little one is 4 months today and his cat napping is crazy atm. Maybe when he is older and has longer naps...
