Awaiting period coming

Hey, I'm just looking for some advice. I sadly had a miscarriage at around 6-7wks on 11th November. I was advised not to try again until I'd had my first period, which they've told me can be within 4-8wks of having the miscarriage. I'm almost 4wks after it, did anyone go as long as 8wks after before they had a period? I'm anxious just cause I know it can be so much heavier than usual especially after a loss. Some advice would be appreciated 💕
