Hey guys, I know wake windows are just a guide and we do follow them loosely. Mr 6 month old has been fighting sleep every nap for the last month and I was wondering if anyone else is in the same boat 😂💀 we’ve done the 2 and a half hour wake window, 2 hours 45 and also 3 hour wake window.
I have noticed he does a lot better and doesn’t fight as much with the three hour wake window but still fights it a bit. I’m totally fine with him doing three hour wake windows, we’ve managed to create a routine that works for us but I just want to see if anyone else can relate 😂

lol yes same
I’m tired asf from fighting this boy for his naps (6 months 4 days)
No advice , sorry ♥️
Going to try 3 hours though
He’s started to make this sound lkke a whining dog that’s sad when he’s tired so idk how long I can hold off 😂

Sameeeeee!! I guess they are just grown so much i am not ready for it yet 😭😭

I’m on the same boat as you 😅 my lil dude is 6 1/2 months old and from past couple of days this has been the case in the evening time 😑.
We are trying different strategies to see if we find any luck 😄

Hahaha we’re all screwed 😂😂😂

Looks like it 🤣🤣

perfect so when he makes the whining dog sound that’s his signal it’s bedtime 😂😂😂

Same!! Very hard to get him to sleep but I do find the pacifier is a real help. Without it he fights so hard he is hard to control at times and with the pacifier he soothes straight away and starts to give in to the sleep more. But yes, not easy!!

I'm following much shorter wake windows for my 6 month babe and she does well on them! Usually goes down fine, I find if I go longer is when she fights it cos she's overtired. If I get to 3 hours she will go down alright cos she's EXHAUSTED.
The wake windows I'm using are:
Before nap 1: 1hr 45 mins
Before nap 2: 2 hrs
Before nap 3/4 (if there's time for a 4th nap): 2 hrs - 2hrs 15 mins
Before bed: 1 hr 45 mins - 2 hrs

I am having the same issue! She doesn’t fight her first nap of the day but as the day goes on, things get worse! And her naps have become so short! Now I’m concerned she’s not getting enough sleep

I give naps on demand during the day .. after 6am wakeup feed we go back to sleep until 830am or so. usually one big nap around midday, and a small one in the late afternoon.
