I just found out that I’m pregnant and my milk is starting to dramatically decrease. My daughter is 10 months, have any of you moms transitioned to whole milk already or did you switch to formula?

No Whole milk yet

Your body will adapt again

Unless you feel like it’s too demanding, but no whip milk yet ☺️

I found out on the 16th and my milk is still continuing to decrease. :/

I got pregnant as well and my milk dropped. I started using formula

Our bodies are too busy making babies now 🤷🏻♀️

You can probably ask your pediatrician and see what they recommend? If they’re eating solids with a variety of iron rich foods it’s possible to start whole milk

With my daughter who is now 3 and completely healthy, started getting whole milk at 10 months old during the day (she was exclusively breastfeed) just because my mental health needed a break! They are already getting the dairy allergen through your milk if you are still consuming dairy. If you aren’t, then I would say don’t introduce. Also consult her doctor regardless of anything anyone on here says. But from my experience with my daughter she was fine.
My son who is 10 months is a formula baby and I’m learning things differently, is on lactose free formula so I’m waiting till a year to introduce anything with him. If you don’t want to switch so close to another switch, look into getting donor breast milk if you are comfortable with that.

I transitioned my daughter to whole milk at six/seven months.
