I'm 11+2 currently (according to my LMP) but on my last scan when I was 10+1, baby was measuring at 10+4 so could maybe be a few days ahead. I've got my 12 week dating scan on 13th Dec. I've been struggling with bloat since I was 4-5 weeks which just never seems to go away🤣. I can't wait to get a proper bump, but because I'm so bloated all of the time I don't even know if I'd notice any difference😅. I seem to be rounding out a little more, but just wondering if it becomes obvious or not😅

I didn't get a noticeable bump until I was about 25 weeks with my first. You're expecting it a bit too soon.

16weeks ish most people pop cause the uterus has reached just under your belly button at that point. At 11 weeks your uterus is primarily in your pelvis

I know I don't have a bump it's just bloating which is what I show on my pics/what I was writing about - but I'm basically asking for those who had bloating whether it's obvious to differentiate between bloat and bump when the bump does come. I'm not expecting a bump for a while, I just feel like a balloon already due to the bloat, but I'm looking forwards to having a proper "baby bump"

I'm looking forward to having a bump, but I know it usually takes a while with 1st pregnancy. I already feel huge sometimes with the bloating 🤣x

I'm hoping so, I feel like the bloating just makes me look fat like I've put soo much weight on my belly but nothing eases it, I'd love to have a cute bump, but I worry that I'll just look fatter and fatter as opposed to looking pregnant🤣. Do you find that a baby bump feels a little harder, as opposed to the bloat being 'squishy'?

I can’t actually explain but, your bump will “feel”‘different. It’s not discomfort like bloat. It’s soft but firm. You’ll just know.

I didn’t get a bump til like 19 weeks

I carried really small, I've mainly noticed when I was around 21 weeks where it looked more as a bump rather than a bloat x

I found the easiest way to recognise I had a bump was the sides of my lower belly started going really hard! But I was exactly the same! I was super excited and started taking pics at 11 weeks, and while I know it was mostly bloat I still allowed myself to get excited about my "bump"

My bloat switched to a little bump around 13 weeks, it’s hard to tell the difference but for me it was there consistently and didn’t change size throughout the day/with meals. It only really started rounding off and showing as a noticeable pregnancy bump around 18 weeks

Mine was complete bloat until around 16 weeks when it started to round off slightly, and then grow and grow and grow from then on 🥰

Good chance it’s still 50% bloat at 11 weeks, I realised mine was bump around 9 weeks because it didn’t go away vs the initial bloat which changed a lot from one day to the next but it was always looking more bloated/ larger in the mornings due to gas buildup in my sleep. Either way I realised I needed a pair of maternity jeans asap.
