Relactate after 2 months ?

Is it possible to relactate after 2 months of not breastfeeding? My 6 month old doesn’t want to drink her formula anymore and will cry when it’s time to eat purées. I feel like I’ll just have to go back to breast feeding just to make sure she’s getting enough nutrients. I stopped breast feeding when she was 4 months old

I'm wondering the same

Yes! Do you ever notice a tiny bit of milk? Pump a little more and more each day every 3 hours, even if you don't actually get any milk. Maybe just 5 mins at first then 10 mins and work up to 1hr "power pumping" (just to up supply). Go easy on the suction so as not to cause any damage. People can start lactating without ever being pregnant so you can likely make yourself lactate again since you have an advantage of hormones. I bet yours will come in since it's only been 2 months. The breasts can produce milk for months to years after stopping breastfeeding.
