I 100% agree with you. Sure, they can choose to put their political beliefs before the health/safety of your baby, but like you said, freedom of choice doesn’t mean freedom from consequences.
@Brittany if you’re saying them not wanting to get vaccinated is a political belief, then her “requiring” them to vaccinated is also a political belief. Some people have had bad experiences with vaccinations but let’s go ahead and jump to everything being political and judge them for what’s doing right for them and their bodies. They should be allowed to do what’s best for their bodies free of judgment and labels.
@Kalishya I’m referring to scientific studies on what reduces death rates, and the undeniable reality that there is one political group that ignores it. Sorry you’re triggered!
And I’m referring to all the people who have had adverse reactions to these vaccines. Their experiences shouldn’t be ignored and have something pushed on them just because someone else thinks their way is better. Each person has a right to do what’s best for them and their bodies free of judgment and labels. There’s one political group trying to push their ways and beliefs on the other.
@Kalishya I literally said freedom of choice isn’t freedom from consequences. You’re also the one who started this convo with me…so who is pushing their beliefs? I saw your first comment to her and thought it was dumb but didn’t call you out. Again, sorry you’re so triggered. Leaving the chat now✌️
I love this! I’d be curious to see your list. My husband and I our working on ours. I’m only 11 weeks but our baby will arrive right around Covid, flu and RSV season, so it’s also a requirement
I obviously don’t know the backstory here with your in laws but I wouldn’t label someone as an overbearing narcissist because they choose not to get vaccinated. They could label you the same for “requiring” them to get vaccinated in order to hold their grandchild 🤷🏻♀️ If You have the right to request that then they have the right to decline. They should be respected for their decision just as you want to be respected for yours.
