Breastfeeding less while teething??
Has anyone else's bub fed less when their teeth started coming through? My nearly 7 month old has just had her first 2 teeth cut through.. she was feeding ~8 times per day (one side when she wakes, one before she sleeps) but has dropped at least 3 feeds a day and seems really uninterested sometimes. I'm fairly certain it's not an effiency thing as she only takes 3 mins to empty one side as it is.

Maybe try giving a cold teether or something to chew on before the feeds?

I’m still waiting on teeth to pop through for my LO but from what I’ve heard from other mums, this is really common as their gums and teeth are sore and feeding makes it worse. If she becomes unwell or has reduced wet nappies then definitely worth a visit to the doctor but if she’s a normal weight I wouldn’t be too concerned unless it’s ongoing.
