Acid reflux
My LG suffers badly with acid reflux and has been prescribed omeprezol to try to help. She's been on it for just over a week and there are still no changes. Had anyone else's little ones been on omeprezol and how long roughly did it take before it started to work???

We’ve just started this too and it isn’t working for us yet either 😭 losing the will to live, feel so sorry for LB constantly being sick!
How many mls and what weight baby? We started on 2mls and now on 6mls and she's been a new baby since she started. Have they looked at CMPA for your baby? X
We were told that it doesn't stop sickness only the discomfort from it, our LO is still sick with it but doesn't seem to have the pain from it, i.e. less crying, back arching, can now lie on back. It's such a shame for them x
we’re on 5mls and he weighs 16lb 7oz! I’m going back on Monday to push for them to x
Have you looked into oral/baby tension? I took my daughter to a cranial osteopath which didn't stop all the sickness but definitely helped. Also have a look at rockabye_hub on Instagram- she has loads of info on reflux and how it's usually a sign of something else. We went to a private tongue tie clinic and are in the process of being assessed for tongue tie, but my daughter had really bad oral tension when we first went and were given exercises go help- that definitely reduced the amount she was sick
