I'm one week into potty training, it's nice to know there is light at the end of the tunnel. They're doing so so well however, sometimes I'm feeling have I started too early, is it a mistake lol. I feel others I have spoke too, their little ones were potty trained within days, feel like a failure 😅
@Chloe it's so great. Makes life so much easier. No more stress and fighting every nappy change 😃
@Kate there definately is light at the end of the tunnel. I would ignore everyone. For the first week we had one accident a day some days. Some days there would be no accidents. Then the second week we would go days with no accidents then 3acxidnets in one day. Tomorrow it will be one week with no accidents. I thought to myself so many times last week should I just give up and try again later but all of a sudden it just clicked and he's told me everytime he needs the toilet. Tuesday last week he had an accident and that is the only accident he has had since the Friday before that on. In a way it probably is a little early but if the accidents don't bother you does it matter ? As long as progress is being made don't give up. I think the ones that only took 3 days. their little ones were 100% ready in every way. But as long as you don't mind keep going 😃 from what I've read it can take some 2 weeks to fully grasp it which is what it took my son. But I was fed up of trying to change a wild animals nappy 😂🤦♀️
We're three weeks in too, and the only accidents we have is with the childminder. I couldn't belive how quickly little one took to it, it really is odd how proud & happy it makes you! 👏🏽
