Nursery door open overnight

Those whose babies sleep alone do you keep their door open or closed overnight? Door is always closed for day naps and whilst we still downstairs in evening but when I come to bed I’ll open the door but worried the noise will wake LO (as very light sleeper!) so wondering how many keep it closed or if others always keep it open

I kept the door closed when my toddler was first put in her own room as the flat is small enough for other noise to travel into her room and wake her up. I never close it fully, I leave a tiny gap.

Everyone should be closing all internal doors before bed, it can really help to save lives in a house fire. A closed door vs an open one can slow the spread of fire and smoke, it can literally be life or death 😊 Definitely a good habit to get into, “close doors before you doze”

Also if you have a baby monitor there’s no reason for the door to be open anyway. Much safer to keep it closed 😊

Keep it closed all time, she is a light sleeper

Closed for fire safety reasons!

We close the door for fire safety reasons. But have a baby monitor that plays white noise as he's a light sleeper.

Closed all the time xx

We keep ours closed at night; in the day it’s ajar x

Closed as we have cats x but even if we didn’t ide still probs have it closed x
