Am I using vanish/oxy action cleaner wrong??

How are you using it?

Adding 1 scoop/or less of the powder - depending on how much I'm washing - to a large basin of water and leaving to soak for 5/10 mins. Sometimes I use the spray but never had this problem with it.

I swear by and only use Napisan. Excellent for getting poo stains out wouldn’t be without it

I use that powder and leave it in a bucket with warm water and fairy liquid and it’s worked perfectly fine for me, I’ve even accidentally left things for over a day in the bucket and it’s still all good!
My guess would be the material or make/brand of clothing 😩 I use some quite cheap brands but some maybe don’t hold out as well!

I used napisan with my eldest but haven't seen it anywhere? But maybe because I haven't been looking. I reckon I'll have to make a switch

I'm thinking that it's the make of the clothing to be fair. I alternate between pound shop oxy and vanish if it's on offer 🤣 this particular vest was a free one from the hospital so probably just depends on the quality

I have used only baby detergent at cold water. First wash in hand in cold water and after a cold wash in the washing machine. Never have problems.....

I actually found it in home bargains in th baby bit of all places... I used to love the vanish bar but can't find that anywhere thesedays either 🙄

I use the vanish stain remover bar, which I find very good as you can focus on scrubbing the area you need. Then, after using the bar, just pop it into a normal wash cycle. X

The easiest thing for poo stains is to cover the stain in washing up liquid rub it in a bit, leave for a while then wash. It normally comes out straight away

Best thing is Napisan with washing up liquid then into the washing machine! I don’t use anything else and I’ve never had any issues like that. You can buy napisan in tesco, wilko, asda, home bargins, Amazon and b&m

I use elbow grease spray. Try to clean off as much as possible but that spray stops there being a stain
