My son just turned 1 month old last week and for about the past 5 days now he vomits after almost every feed hes strictly breastfeeding. I've tried burping him more often during feedings, keeping him up right for 30 minutes after feedings. And it's not spit up it's projectile throwing up. He doesn't have a fever he's still pooping and peeing just fine so I know he's keeping something down. And it seems like more often than not if he does keep it down then usually an hour or so later he ends up throwing up but it's half digested and curdlred. Has anyone else dealt with this or know how to deal with it. I feel so bad for him and frustrated that I can't seem to get him to eat without this happening, and I never had issues with him even spitting up just a little until this last week and it's just so violent now.

Pyloric stenosis!!! I would call your after hours pediatrician and see what they say. My girl had pyloric stenosis around a month and a half old and was doing the same thing. Better to catch it early before heโs dehydrated. We ended up in the er the first day she did it after almost every feed and she needed surgery the next morning

My baby is just coming up to 10 weeks and she started vomiting around a week ago when she only had mild reflux before...its been once or twice every day and got worse after her vaccinations but has settled down a bit in the last day.
I've been advised it's just one of those things, babies vomit some times but seemed super out of the blue for me.
The only thing I can put it down to is my fast let down causing her to take down more air which gets trapped, I've been feeding in a relaxed position, burping throughout feed and if my boob is full trying to let the initial let down drain into a towel before putting her back on...it does seem to help a bit but yesterday she just vomited randomly in her car seat about 45 mins after a feed, it's just so random! But doesn't seem to distress her and I'm still getting wet/ dirty nappies and she's gaining weight

I was going to say the only other thing I would look into is pyloric stenosis if it is happening a lot...also the colour of the vomit, my gp said if its white and everything else seems normal it's likely fine but if the way nappies reduce/ it's every feed or its green/ yellow vomit to get back in touch

my girls was always white and was perfectly fine the entire time, also never stopped peeing or pooping.

It's white and white and chunky if he ate recently but if his stomach is empty after he's been sleeping or just woke up it's clear and mucus and almost has yellowy tinged spots. I'm calling his pediatrician tomorrow and getting him im

yeah my girls was white and chunky constantly from it sitting in her belly. And also mucus. I hope everything is okay!

Update: Glad I decided to take him in. He ended up having pyloric stenosis and we are currently out of town at the children's hospital waiting for him to go back to have surgery. They said it's a pretty simple procedure and he should be fine. Glad I caught it when I did.

Call your pediatrician my oldest had Pyloric Stenosis and did the same thing he had to have surgery at three weeks old, the sooner you get him in the better ๐๐ผ better to be safe

@Devyn how did you know it was pyoric stenosis if the sick was just white and she kept pooing/peeing? How often did she vomit? Sorry for all the questions but the gp said unless it's after every feed then just put it down to reflux? ๐
