Play Cafe

Hi All! I been tinkering with the idea of opening a play cafe in the Morgan Hill area. Curious if there is a market for this in Morgan Hill and would love to get some feedback. - What would be your ideal hours of operation? - What’s a reasonable rate to charge? - Any “must haves” for something like this? - Are there any features that would set something like this apart from similar cafes? Love to hear your feedback! ☺️

I think for me it would be good to have maybe just a closed off space where you can see the children play. There are a few cafes that I think have the right idea and that is Playcloud in Round Lake, even Neighborhood Children's museum in Round Lake, The Treehouse Play Cafe, and Indoor Playground in Kenosha. I don't know where your location would be, but I think it would be good to visit those places, maybe even talk to few moms. The Hangout in Libertyville is also a new mom operared place, although I don't think they serve anything at least yet.

A space for pre walkers. Lots of little play cafes don’t have an area for pre walkers which means toddlers can bump into or walk over the littlies. A nice enclosed padded area for the babies would be nice. I’ve left two cafes early before because toddlers were too heavy handed when she was learning to walk x

Also Kid's Art & Cafe in Schaumburg. Those are just some of the places I've been.

I have had the same idea...I don't know where Morgan Hill is but we could deffo keep in contact and bounce ideas off each other. I've just started a soft play business for London n surrounding areas

@Krystle wow congrats!! Was it hard to get started? Morgan Hill is in California (United States) ☺️
