What age did you guys put your kids to preschool? I have a friend who started her kid on preschool when her kid turned 2. Is that to early? My daughter is turning two in a couple of months and I don’t know if it’s too early for her to go to school or what not. Because I have family members telling me not to put my daughter to school too early because she will get sick and tired of school once she’s older

Both of my kids went to preschool at the age of 2. I have family members available to watch them but I preferred both kids to be enriched by education instead. They also learned to love school. My youngest actually now loves to read. She is in 4th grade with a 7th grade reading level.

It depends on what you’re comfortable w. My first son was in daycare since 4 months old and when he was 3 I put him in daycare. But I def am 100% pro preschool. Even if it’s only part time. My step daughter had no schooling before kindergarten and struggled big time. Nobody worked w her prior to starting school. And my step son did pre school and tk and did amazing already he’s totally ready for kindergarten. As far as if 2 is too young or not it’s really only a decision you can make :) Maybe you can start w them going two days a week if that’s something you’re able to do and work up from there

My son is 3 and goes to a daycare/ transitional preschool I would say. They do a lot is sit down activities and have a set scheduled. It’s more of a daycare but have a great curriculum.
I would think 2 is to early for my little one.

I’m going to put my son in preschool as soon as he turns 2 and going to start him in extra curricular activities (like karate) once he’s 18 months. I feel like it’ll give him the opportunity to be able to socialize with kids his age and it’ll keep him entertained 🤷🏻♀️
I do know the preschools I’ve looked into don’t let you start until your baby is potty trained or at least 2 or 3 years of age.

I started school at 2 and I still love it (turning 30 this year). My daughter started at 2, as did my son, and both really still enjoy it (son is about to be 8, daughter is 3.5). That being said, my niece didn't start till 4 because she wasn't showing signs of being ready before that. Take ques from your little. They will let you know when it's time.

A good school will not bore out your child. In addition, children who are not prepared can get bored (overwhelmed) with learning. Socializing at this age is important.

My daughters been going to a daycare 4 days a week for a year and they do a lot with them but now that shes over 2 I feel the pressure of a more pre k style also. She loves them though and she's cheap so I'm struggling with when to transition her and put her somewhere new for more $ a month. We're also planning on moving when shes 3 so that might be when we do it. Everyone's different
