Teething rash
Hi mommies, my LO is teething and has developed a pretty nasty rash around his neck and mouth from constantly scratching his gums/ biting his hands. We can’t figure out how to clear it up. What are you using/ doing if your baby has experienced this ??? Dr said not to worry but we can’t seem to clear it up

My daughter has the SAME rash and it flares up some days worse than others 😭 I’ve tried to stay super on top of wiping her face/neck after feeds, bathing her or using a warm wash cloth/water to wash her neck and face every night, FULLY drying her neck before bed, and loading her up with aquaphor! It seems to be helping but there soooo much drool, it’s hard to stay ahead of it all the time 😭
I think I heard something about apple cider vinegar 🤔
What month is this because my son is 5 months on the 6th and he’s starting to have this too?

I use baby powder to absorb moisture and prevent rash. So far so good. Just obv be careful anywhere near mouth
Forgot to mention i use tubby todd ointment for when she did have a rash
my son just turned 5 months buts it’s been happing since he was about 3.5/4 months.
Vasaline lady's or sudocrema will help it clear up and stop getting sore use a dame cloth to clean face and patt dry put some vasaline on it and it keep it moisture in and stop it from getting to dame and sore done with all my kids
Clean with a wash cloth with baby dove and let dry then i use baby aquaphor!
I’ve been using that tubby Todd all over ointment. It seems to help. His rash isn’t so bad as before.
And drying that area through the day at times instead of just letting it stay wet.
