Looking to open an account for my son for his 1st Birthday, to then gift him on his 18th birthday.
I figured even if I can put £10 a month in then that's still over 2k.
Does anyone have one that they can't recommend?

We opened a junior ISA with Skipton

I just opened accounts for both my girls with my bank- im with Bank of Scotland. They got their account numbers and sort codes. Money can be put in by anyone that has the details. I can only check how much they have in there by going into my bank other than that, nobody can access it but them once they are 18

Junior isa is a good option, they get access to it when they are 18. We got ours with Hargreaves landsdown, making pretty good returns currently!

I’ve got a NatWest child saver and u get a free piggy bank I put £100 a month she’ll have £21,600 on her 18th birthday 🎁

I’ve just done a NatWest one

I like the idea of premium bonds, that way money is safe and bonds are in with a chance of winning every month

@Alice what happens when the account gets £50,000? Can you make another account or is it maxed & there's nothing you can do?

We have a Halifax one - kids monthly saver I think it is
