Throwing myself around

I just want a bit of reassurance. Earlier today I threw myself sideways onto a beanbag while playing with a child at work, I didn't think about it and now I am concerned I've harmed the baby. I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant.

Does anyone have an experience of something similar?

I feel down the stairs at 21 weeks and nothing bad happened. If you’re really worried it’s worth always calling up the midwife or just popping her/him a quick text message for reassurance.

I wouldn't worry too much xx beanbags are very soft and I'm sure baby is okay, but if really concerned ring midwife or GP x

The only thing to be mindful of is if you're rhesus negative blood type, any kinds of bumps or injuries to bump (falls/accidents etc) should be mentioned to midwife because you may need Anti-D injection x

@Maria I have called up the midwifes as I am Rhesus Negative and baby is positive, however they have said because it was impact on my side not my stomach, I won't need it and it will more than likely be fine. They said it will need to be a significant fall for it to impact the baby, and that baby is still fairly deep down at 18 weeks. 😊 Thank you for your help. X

Boy or girl?

I’ve just discovered the nub theory and this is my 4th baby. Anyone take a guess?

SPPH (secondary postpartum haemorrhage) due to retained placenta -D&C?

Looking to see if anyone else has experienced this? Currently trying to pass retained tissue ( 4 weeks pp) and finding every day so exhausting just constantly waiting and checking my bleeding. I stopped bleeding on week 2.5/3 then bleeding picked up last Saturday and I haemorrhaged on Thursday morning with a rush to hospital. Everyday since I’m waking up scared I’ll be bleeding out. Worried to go toilet to check, I’m not convinced I’ll be passing it naturally and I’m worried I’ll need a D&C… has anyone had this? My retained tissue is 2cm so they said it’s small but I have no signs of passing it or blood changing colour to show slowing down.

39 weeks pregnant FTM

39 weeks baby hasn’t come yet and I am just full of anxiety. I am trying to relax. I am trying to chill, but I can’t chill. I do not want to be induced. I would love to have her natural. Issue is I am tight down there and petite and baby is measuring big like the head especially. I know that measurements can be off. But I have photos! And she is a chunk. This is so unpredictable. How do I just put my faith forward and trust in God and how do I let go of this anxiety? I am doing fine and then boom it hits me and I want to ball my eyes out. I am trying to treat myself and do little things but driving or doing anything is so hard now and I’m so huge and uncomfortable …I’m at my breaking point 😭

So ready for second trimester 🥲

I really really hate the first trimester. It’s exhausting, no appetite, not enough hours to get the amount of sleep I need, headaches, smell sensitivity, and overall just feeling like crap! And I don’t want to announce anything until 14 weeks since I’ve had losses before, and it’s getting really hard to hide it from my friends. Two more weeks to go….

Just needed to vent to others who understand!
